To help your stay be as pleasant as possible we have compiled a list of helpful hints/tips and our terms and conditions.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:

Booking will be confirmed on receipt of an email from splashfarmbookings@outlook.com once payment cleared into our account.

 Full payment is required upon booking by bank transfer only.

Minimum 2-night stay.

Maximum of 4 guests.

Extra £20 will be charge as Pet cleaning fee per booking.

Arrival and checking out are within stated times:
Check in time is 3pm – 8pm and check out time is 10am, unless otherwise agreed.

No charge for babies please bring your own cot etc.

CANCELLATIONS

Full refund for cancellations within 48 hours of booking if the check in date is at last 14 days away. 50 % refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check in.

We would appreciate your help keeping the hut clean and safe by following these instructions:

SMOKING Is not permitted in the huts.

FLAMMABLES No candles, fireworks, Chinese lanterns or party string in or near the hut.

HOB Please ensure the electric rings are cold before putting anything on them.

SURFACES Please use the mats/boards provided to avoid staining/marking the oak surfaces. The table can be placed for eating purposes. 

BINS We would appreciate it if you would recycle what you are able by placing items in the appropriate bin.

SANITARY WEAR/WIPES Please DO NOT put anything other than toilet tissue down the compostable loo. Please pour water provided down the toilet after using.

MUDDY BOOTS Please leave muddy shoes/wellies/boots into the tubs provided outside the hut.

STEPS Please take care entering and leaving the hut especially when they are wet. Also please take great care climbing in and out of the bed. A step can be found in wardrobe cupboard

DOGS You can bring one well behaved small/medium dog to stay with you in the Shepherds Hut at an additional cost of £20 per 2 night stay.

ANIMALS We are a working farm and may have livestock in the adjacent field. Please do not feed them or go into the fields. Please close all gates behind you.

STREAM ADAJACENT Children MUST be supervised at all times if near the stream area or pond.

BRIDGE A footbridge across our stream allows access to our huts. Please be aware of an uneven surface.

HEALTHCARE There is a pharmacy in Arundel and Doctors surgery (01903 882191). For other emergencies the nearest A and E department is at St. Richard’s Hospital, Chichester or ring 111 for further advice.

BOOKING is on a first come first served basis and is only secured by full payment, unless agreed otherwise. This can be done by bank transfer only.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

No outside guests unless by prior arrangement.

We respectfully request that guests show due consideration to our neighbours keeping noise to a minimum after 22.30.

We appreciate that accident damage happens so please let us know as soon as possible if there is a problem. If the damage is major, we will ask you for the cost of repair/replacement.

There is a fire extinguisher in the shepherd’s hut. Please familiarise yourself with how to use it (which we hope won’t be needed). If you have enjoyed your stay, feel free to leave any comments in the visitor’s book. We appreciate your honest feedback on how your stay could have been improved. If there are any issues during your stay, please let us know so we can address them for you.

We will aim to make your stay a safe one. However, we do not accept any responsibility for injuries to guests, or any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property whilst you are on the premises. All guests are responsible for their own actions and consequences thereof whilst on the premises, without exception. We are not liable for any damage/theft of goods of client’s property/vehicles and suggest that you take any valuables with you and ensure that you have your own holiday insurance.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that particulars of the accommodation offered are accurate, we cannot accept any responsibility if the Shepherds Hut does not, in fact, meet your requirements. Before making a reservation, please check that the Shepherds Huts and location is entirely suitable. We are happy to answer any questions regarding suitability.
